Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 21, 2026
1. Introduction
ReplyMore ("we", "us", or "our") operates the ReplyMore web application at replymore.com and the ReplyMore Chrome Extension (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.
By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Your name and email address (provided via Google OAuth or magic link sign-in)
- Profile picture (if provided by your Google account)
2.2 Usage Data
We collect aggregated usage statistics, including:
- Number of replies and posts generated per platform (e.g., X/Twitter)
- Daily usage counts for rate-limiting purposes
- Subscription plan and billing status
2.3 User-Provided Content
We store customization preferences you provide, such as:
- Your selected tone preference (e.g., casual, professional)
- Your personalization prompt (interests, writing style preferences)
- Custom default prompt settings
2.4 What We Do NOT Collect
We want to be clear about what we do not collect or store:
- We do not collect, store, or have access to your X (Twitter) or LinkedIn login credentials. Our extension operates on pages you are already signed in to and never requests or intercepts your social media passwords or authentication tokens.
- We do not store the content of tweets, posts, or replies you view on social media platforms.
- We do not track your browsing history or activity outside of the extension's functionality.
- We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to third parties for advertising purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the Service, including generating AI-powered reply and post suggestions
- Authenticate your identity and manage your account
- Process payments and manage your subscription through Stripe
- Enforce usage limits based on your subscription plan
- Improve the quality and reliability of our Service
4. How the Extension Works
The ReplyMore Chrome Extension reads the visible content of the page you are currently viewing (such as a tweet or post) solely to generate a relevant AI reply or post suggestion. This content is sent to our backend server, which forwards it to OpenAI's API for processing. The content is processed in real-time and is not stored on our servers after the response is generated.
The extension requires the following permissions:
- Host permissions (x.com): To inject the reply generation UI into the X/Twitter interface.
- Storage: To store your authentication token and preferences locally in the browser.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- OpenAI: To generate AI-powered reply and post suggestions. Content sent to OpenAI is processed according to OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
- Stripe: To process subscription payments. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and is never stored on our servers. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Google OAuth: For authentication. We only receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.
- Neon (PostgreSQL): To store account and usage data securely.
6. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (SSL/TLS), secure authentication tokens, and environment-level access controls to protect your data.
Authentication tokens used by the extension are stored locally in your browser's Chrome storage and are transmitted over HTTPS.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data only for as long as your account is active.
If you delete your account, all of your personal information, usage data, prompts, subscription records, and any other data associated with your account will be permanently deleted from our servers. This deletion is irreversible.
You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us at the email address provided below.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
- Data portability
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information below.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
